VNCHIP INSTITUTE BECOMES FIRST “CADENCE CERTIFIED LAB” IN VIETNAM

Strategic Partnership with Cadence and Vietnam National Innovation Center to Propel IC Design Talent and Industry Development

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – April 18, 2025 — The VNCHIP Semiconductor Research and Development Institute proudly announces a groundbreaking achievement: becoming the first “Cadence Certified Lab” in Vietnam . This distinction places VNCHIP at the forefront of semiconductor innovation and education, positioning the institute as a key driver in advancing Vietnam’s integrated circuit (IC) design capabilities and workforce development.

This prestigious certification was awarded by Cadence Design Systems , a global leader in electronic design automation (EDA) software and hardware. The recognition validates VNCHIP’s capacity to deliver advanced training and development in Digital Design & Signoff using Innovus Technology and Custom IC Design with Virtuoso Technology —two core competencies essential for modern semiconductor design.

In parallel with this milestone, VNCHIP Institute has entered into a strategic partnership with Cadence Design Systems and the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC) . This partnership will support the launch of a free training program for university students and early-career engineers, enabling them to master state-of-the-art IC design tools and methodologies.

This program, offered under the VNCHIP Talent Program , reflects VNCHIP’s core mission: to empower the next generation of IC designers through education, research, and industry engagement .
